• In order to maintain NCQA accreditation within the organization, my
primary area of focus is on increasing HPV vaccine compliance rates among
our adolescent population, and Combo 10 compliance rates among our
infant population. As part of this effort, I work in conjunction with our
Communications Department to disseminate Gardasil-branded mailers to
parents of adolescents who are in need of their first or second dose of
Gardasil, per claims data.
• Health Alliance HEDIS rates for Combo 1 (1-Meningococcal, 1-Tdap/Td) have
increased from 66.3% in 2016 to 89.5% in 2018 for Commercial HMO/POS
plans, achieving the goal of 90th
percentile in 2018.
• Health Alliance HEDIS rates for Combo 2 (1-Meningococcal, 1-Tdap/Td, HPV)
have increased from 13.8% in 2017 to 22.9% in 2018 for Commercial
HMO/POS plans. This is still short of the 90th
percentile, but we remain
above the national average.
• As the organization’s central point of contact for Rally-Health Alliance’s
online wellness tool-I work directly with members to ensure a seamless
registration process and comprehensive understanding of all Rally offerings.
• Developed wellness materials for health fairs and lunch and learn sessions.
These included a PowerPoint presentation on Job Stress and How to
Manage It, a flier detailing ways to reduce sugar intake, brochures
highlighting exercises that individuals may do if they are stationary
throughout the workday, and stress, with recommendations and methods to
reduce it.

• Worked directly with employer groups to distribute and discuss wellness
offerings to employees, in addition to attending health fairs when
requested.
• As Health Alliance’s representative on the Carle Immunization Committee, I
am responsible for researching and reporting insurance coverage for various
medications. Participation on the committee also allows me to stay up-to-
date on new ACIP and/or CDC recommendations that have the potential to
affect Health Alliance HEDIS rates.
• Maintain a partnership with Merck and Pfizer to promote the importance of
vaccinating. I was able to get a Merck Gardasil branded publication
approved by our legal team, which is used in all of our HPV mailings.
• Report on progress made to raise HPV and Combo 10 immunization rates to
Health Alliance’s Quality Improvement Committee via mid-year and end-of-
the-year evaluations.
• Survey and tabulate data for all members who have been members of
Health Alliance for a minimum of 6 months. Develop a New Member report
annually and present the findings of the report to Health Alliance’s
Member’s Rights and Responsibilities Committees. Brainstorm with
committee regarding ways to increase member satisfaction across all
products: Commercial, Exchange, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare
Advantage Washington.
• Analyze and communicate information from primary and secondary studies
to committees, physicians, and non-physician leadership to aid in strategy
development, decision-making, and process improvement.
• Independently formulate methodologies and manage projects and teams to
achieve results
• Apply a working knowledge of data queries, data management, trend
analysis, and project and data quality in order to develop accurate and
concise reports for colleagues and external vendors, when applicable
• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and complete projects by specified deadlines
with a high level of quality, accuracy and clarity
• Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills to all presentations,
reports, and both internal and external correspondence
• Responsible for providing data analysis support to all departments, teams,

• Developed relationships with providers and members to ensure that all
needs of the members were met. Dealt with conflict resolution on a daily
basis, and diffused most situations before they were escalated to a
manager. I quickly understood the importance of tone and language when
speaking to callers, and was considered one of the top representatives out
of approximately 50.
• Continuously projected the image and language of professionalism while
interacting with a variety of personalities and cultures. Responsible for
working with walk-in members in order to respond to their
questions/complaints in face-to-face conversations.
• Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions, in addition
to maintaining composure in confrontational situations.
• During active calls, of which I completed 50-200 per day, I would have to
speak to the caller while simultaneously research benefits/claims/prior
authorization requests and a variety of other tasks under stress, and with
frequent interruptions and limited follow-up time allowance. This required
the ability to solved complex problems and issues with minimal supervision.
• Acclimated myself to all of the departments within Health Alliance, the
duties of those departments, and which to reach out to in order to expedite
calls while still providing accurate, complete information to the caller.

As part of this effort, I work in conjunction with our Communications Department to disseminate Gardasil-branded mailers to parents of adolescents who are in need of their first or second dose of Gardasil, per claims data. • Health Alliance HEDIS rates for Combo 1 (1-Meningococcal, 1-Tdap/Td) have increased from 66.3% in 2016 to 89.5% in 2018 for Commercial HMO/POS plans, achieving the goal of 90th percentile in 2018. • Health Alliance HEDIS rates for Combo 2 (1-Meningococcal, 1-Tdap/Td, HPV) have increased from 13.8% in 2017 to 22.9% in 2018 for Commercial HMO/POS plans. This is still short of the 90th percentile, but we remain above the national average. • As the organization’s central point of contact for Rally-Health Alliance’s online wellness tool-I work directly with members to ensure a seamless registration process and comprehensive understanding of all Rally offerings. • Developed wellness materials for health fairs and lunch and learn sessions. These included a PowerPoint presentation on Job Stress and How to Manage It, a flier detailing ways to reduce sugar intake, brochures highlighting exercises that individuals may do if they are stationary throughout the workday, and stress, with recommendations and methods to reduce it.   • 2. • Worked directly with employer groups to distribute and discuss wellness offerings to employees, in addition to attending health fairs when requested. • As Health Alliance’s representative on the Carle Immunization Committee, I am responsible for researching and reporting insurance coverage for various medications. Participation on the committee also allows me to stay up-to- date on new ACIP and/or CDC recommendations that have the potential to affect Health Alliance HEDIS rates. • Maintain a partnership with Merck and Pfizer to promote the importance of vaccinating. I was able to get a Merck Gardasil branded publication approved by our legal team, which is used in all of our HPV mailings. • Report on progress made to raise HPV and Combo 10 immunization rates to Health Alliance’s Quality Improvement Committee via mid-year and end-of- the-year evaluations. • Survey and tabulate data for all members who have been members of Health Alliance for a minimum of 6 months. Develop a New Member report annually and present the findings of the report to Health Alliance’s Member’s Rights and Responsibilities Committees. Brainstorm with committee regarding ways to increase member satisfaction across all products: Commercial, Exchange, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Advantage Washington. • Analyze and communicate information from primary and secondary studies to committees, physicians, and non-physician leadership to aid in strategy development, decision-making, and process improvement. • Independently formulate methodologies and manage projects and teams to achieve results • Apply a working knowledge of data queries, data management, trend analysis, and project and data quality in order to develop accurate and concise reports for colleagues and external vendors, when applicable • Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and complete projects by specified deadlines with a high level of quality, accuracy and clarity • Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills to all presentations, reports, and both internal and external correspondence • Responsible for providing data analysis support to all departments, teams, and leadership as assigned. Health Alliance Medical Plans Customer Service Representative November 2012-December 2013 • Responded to and documented all inquiries from members, providers, employers and employer groups • Developed relationships with providers and members to ensure that all needs of the members were met. Dealt with conflict resolution on a daily basis, and diffused most situations before they were escalated to a manager. I quickly understood the importance of tone and language when speaking to callers, and was considered one of the top representatives out of approximately 50. • Continuously projected the image and language of professionalism while interacting with a variety of personalities and cultures.
