I am exploring senior-level operational opportunities in transportation logistics, distribution operations or terminal &
facility management ~ and have sent my resume for your review. I am also willing to relocate, if need be. Although
my present position is rewarding in many respects, I am interested in more challenges and a faster -paced
environment.
As my resume reflects, I have significantly improved the bottom-line wherever I’ve worked, because I excel at being
a “turn-around” agent. To this end, I’ve contributed to the growth and success of 3 different companies (after
leaving the Navy following 9 years a Logistics Specialist).
My military experience equipped me with proficiency in streamlining operations for maximum efficiency, leadership
skills and a team player mentality, problem-solving creatively, and flexibility in responding to ever-changing daily
situations. Taking command of an operation or project, then guiding it to new performance levels, is my greatest
strength. These are the same assets I would bring to your organization.
If my background meets your hiring criteria, please allow me to interview. I am eager to make a career change and
will look forward to your response. I understand that you are busy reviewing other applications; therefore, I
appreciate your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
-
