Provide leadership for 6 Regions and 60 Warehouse & Delivery operations, ~7M sqft of warehouse space, supporting
over $2B in sales. Provide operational expertise to increase sales,in-stocks, inventory capital investment while
decreasing last mile cost.

Successfully relocated 12 Distribution facilities – which included ~$100M in inventory and over 1.5M sqft of

Inbound International Logistics Manager 2012 - 2013
Successfully managed the scheduling of inbound international containers and all outbound deliveries for ATD’s three
domestic Import warehouses. Volume includes over 12,000 containers annually. We are one of the largest importers into
Long Beach,CA and into Charleston, SC on the US East coast.
2. Coordinated the inbound container flow of 12,000 containers via ocean and intermodal carriers. Managing a
complex balance of on-port time, off-port time, dray carriers, and other factors to ensure fill rates were high and
Detention and Demurrage costs were minimized.
Provided and scheduled outbound carrier loads to support product flow from the 3 Regional International
warehouses into 120 local Market Distribution facilities. Developed corporate strategy in the areas of carrier
negotiation, carrier performance, and carrier SLA’s.
Partnered with key Logistics leaders to negotiate all contracts and establish supplier/3PL partnerships.
Instrumental in identifying and sourcing Third Party Freight Payment service. Selected service provider and
reduced ATD workload by 65% while eliminating paper audit system.

As overall facility GM - led the up-fit and startup of the 400k sqft Chicago International Mixing Warehouse in 2010 from
the ground up.
Participated in the hiring process orchestrating a job fair screening over 100 applicants for a staff of 15.
Managed the initial vendor load-in of inventory and created the outbound transportation network to support 18
ATD Market Distribution facilities.

Collaboratively developed and wrote operating SOP’s for not only this new start-up facility, but for all of ATD’s
Mixing Centers.

Director of Operations
Responsible for opening the first cross dock pharmaceutical facility for PARCELite Solutions partnering with the
Veteran’s Administration to open five Distribution facility operations from South Carolina to Arizona.
Successfully opened 5 facilities over a 3-year span expanding the operation from 50K deliveries a day to over
400K daily. Based on this excellent performance,we were awarded our competitor’s business.
Fostered a partnership with the USPS and common carriers to deliver the best in class service to our US Veterans
through the development of an interlink with the USPS systems to track all parceldeliveries to the Veterans
resulting in days delivered from 3.7 days to 2.9 days.
Direct responsibility for all staffing, P&L,carrier performance,USPS performance, and meeting SLA’s.
Grew the business from shipping 50,000 parcels daily to over 400,000 parcels daily through the use of six sigma
methods to increase scans per hour and sorts per hour resulting in a lower operating expense.
Collaborated with IT to develop a hands free scanning method resulting in an half second faster process time
resulting in a 10% reduction in overtime (lowered labor costs).
