This position has required me to act in several different administrative capacities, including:
• Reports Analysis: Create and maintain technician performance, sales and productivity
reports using Microsoft Excel, to identify which cable technicians are in need of coaching
or disciplinary action. Collect and summarize job productivity data for the entire
Illinois/Indiana region, to aid management in tracking monthly installation and repair
appointments and identifying underlying trends.
• Administrative Liaison: Act as liaison to several partner companies, cooperating with
them to ensure accuracy in joint personnel records. Collect, issue, and process job
assignments for bury drop contractors, maintaining close contact with individual
supervisors to make sure productivity goals are met and priority assignments are
expedited. Gauge current productivity to determine when and whether workloads will be
divided among several contracting companies.
• Customer Care: Communicate with individual customers when needed, explaining
internal WOW processes related to bury drops, pricing, dispatching, and other associated
matters. Also act as de facto receptionist for the Schaumburg facility, processing
equipment returns and billing inquiries for customers.
• Office Management: Order office supplies, enter internal IT and external facility service
requests, maintain contact with landlord, HVAC, telephony, electrical, and plumbing
contractors for service and repair issues, make catering arrangements for occasional
company events at the Schaumburg facility.
