 Negotiate with overseas buyer from price to all contract terms, sign contract on behalf of company &
followed up the L/C opening and checked the L/C as per Contract.
 Coordinate with plant for programming of movement of material by Railway rake and make sure
timely and smooth movement with minimal transit loss to port.
 Coordinate with plant to make the quality and marking of Goods as per contractual terms with
Overseas Buyer.
 Plan the laycan to call Vessels for loading at port accordingly with consideration of material
movement to port.
 Following up the Vessel Nomination from buyers and timely file the export statutory documents with
Customs Office & Port before the arrival of Vessel at Port.
 Demonstrated excellence in supervising loading of the Steels products & Iron Ore into Vessels at the
port to insure that loading of Vessel as per plan and with minimum loss.
 Coordinate with plant, CHA & Inspection agency for providing the Exports Documents well in time
 Prepare Commercial invoice and all other Export Documents required as per L/C and submit the
same to Finance department for onwards submission to Bank of Overseas Buyer.
 Adroit at resolving various issues related to negotiation on Overseas Contractual terms, shipping,
quality , material transportation to port , Loading of Vessel, Arranging Shipping documentation and
discrepancies in shipping documents or any phase during transaction.
 Liaisoning with buyers and their banks for timely release of payments.
 Effectively updating the Indian Ports for movement of vessels to call Vessel to avoid demurrage.
 Monitoring Accounts and Financials of Export Department and timely payment of all vendors.
 Prepare Costing of pre & post shipments
IMPORTS :
MET COKE :
 Negotiation of price & Contract terms with Overseas Buyer.
 Prepare L/C as per Contractual terms and negotiate the L/C terms with overseas buyer.
 Follow up with Financial department for timely issuance of L/C to overseas buyer.
 Follow up with overseas buyer for nomination of Vessel and confirm the same after consulting with
Stevedores.
 Arrange all finances required for Custom duty and Port Charges from Financial department on arrival
of Vessel at Discharge port.
 Followup with Stevedores for filing of Bill of Entries and custom documents before the prior to the
arrival of Vessel to avoid any additional charges.
 To make sure that all material moved from Vessel to designated plot in port premises and material
stocked properly and guarded.
 Plan the movement of material from Port to plant by Railway Rakes or Trucks.
 Maintain the stock alongwith the quality received at plant and in Plant
DOMESTIC IRON ORE:
 Monthly Planning of Iron ore for plant on the basis of monthly production plan of plant.
 Source the Iron Ore from Mine Owner and negotiate and release purchase order to them to supply
material and insure that quality supply as per P.O.
 Coordinate with Finance department for payment & L/C for Mine Owner/ Vendors.
 Coordinate with Branch Office for statutory requirement with Mine Department.
 Following up with Transporter for timely movement of material from Mines to Railway Siding.
 Coordinate with plants and finance department for vendors Grievances and resolve them timely.
 Coordinate with plant on raw material consumption and manage the sufficient stock in plant
