3. Gateway Operations & Customs Clearance Management
o Maintainproperlyallocatedmanningresourcesinaccordance withshipmentvolumes,adequate
staff skills levels and a safe working environment.
o Monitorinboundandoutboundshipmentprocessingthroughthe clearance processandensures
clearance is smooth and rapid – including customs, quarantine, censorship etc.
o Ensure all inbound&outboundshipmentsare sorted&loadedaccordingtoagreedguidelinesto
ensure TT standards & cost targets can be met.
o Ensure the clearance process meets all legal and statutory requirements
o Evaluate Customs Clearance procedures and methods to achieve optimum service and cost
performance
o Pay and record customs duties / taxes in an accurate and timely manner.
o Control bonded areas and is responsible for managing clearance status
o Liaise withcustomerswhere paperworkand authorization are required from them to expedite
clearance of their shipments.
o Manages Customs Clearance Unit resources including cost and performance management.
o Analyze CustomsClearance performance andsolve the problemandtake corrective actionswith
relative parties for the most competitive Clearance Performance/Capability
o Solve problems and take corrective actions as dictated by operational contingencies.
o Evaluate procedures and methods to achieve optimum service and cost performance;
participate in Gateway quality policy and initiatives e.g. ISO.
o Maintain a safe, clean and fair working environment for all employees.
People Management
o Develop a high performance service culture within the functional Department. Plan, organize
and direct and efficient and effective Functional department.
o Develop KPI’s with team members & monitor individual performance &Consult performance
appraisal.

4. Warehouse Core Competencies:
o Managing Raw material & Finished Goods warehouse of DHL FTZ operations with 60+ Team
members
o Subcontractor operations management and inventory reconciliation activities
o Setting targets and measuring KPI of Material receiving, stacking at proper location, Line
replenishment, inventory accuracy & shipping accuracy of warehouse employees.
o Report to management on warehouse performance and KPI metrics
o 5s & EHS implementation & regular audits to meet organization standards
o Investigate and provide CAPA for customer complaints
o Lead & assist warehouse team on implementing new systems, process, KANBAN, KAIZEN &
projects to meet organizations short term and long term objectives
o Performance review, objective settings & organizing training program for employees.
o Work with function head on cost of WH operations, budget and asset management
o Coordinate with inter departments to meet organization objectives and set targets.
o PreparingG.R.N (Tally9.2) for all the incomingmaterialsafterverifyingthe materialsqualityand
price with ref no & PO
o Storing the materials as per FIFO standard
o Issuing the materials to production as per FIFO and update the stock Tally 9.2
o Preparing G.R.N, Gate pass and return sales invoice for rejection materials with form JJ
o Preparing monthly stock statement both physical & book ledger and submit to Finance every

o Preparation of sales invoice for local customer, Form ARE-3, for the materials dispatching
against CT2 & gate pass
o coordinating with local customer’s and fulfill their scheduled (planning and production)
o Monitoring the stock in F.G stores and make request to planning and production as per the
customer schedule
o Maintaining the stock in F.G and dispatch the materials with FIFO standard
o Coordinatingwith‘CostingTeam’ forprice fixation and get approval from customer to issue PO
as per the rate

o Capturing Asset No in Bond Register with their age
o Special Track of CG received on FOC / Loan Basis & Asset Allocation to Project / Location /
