Job Responsibilities:
 Handling more than 700 parts (Metal parts)
 Generation of Purchase order based on purchase request generated for particular item.
 Prepare delivery schedule for the supplier & take confirmation of the deliveries from the
supplier
 Expediting the timely delivery of materials by considering lead times such as
transportation GRN activities etc.
 Keeping track of MBOM as changes in it leads to shortage of material, which in turn stops
production process.
 Keeping track of quality rejections which lead to production shortages. So, based on NCR
more materials are fetched from suppliers.

2.  Always try to meet the production MPS deadline by bringing material on Time to prevent
production stoppage.
 Working in SAP
 Coordinate with suppliers regarding order discrepancies, shipment shortages etc.
 Maintain contact with the shipping & transport department to prevent delay in shipments
 Solve GRN related issues
 Attend back order meeting & walk through meetings at shop floor to acutely monitor
shortages of parts for current production of trains.
 Change request of retrofit material is separately monitored to ascertain the changes
occurring in current train set.
