2. • Work on FOXBORO Invensys DCS for BTG-control of 660MW unit with various subsystems like
DEH for turbine speed control.
The system for control of hydraulic operated control valve for main steam flow, pressure and
turbine speed control.
FSSS for boiler safety and control
The system for control of fuel flow, air flow, furnace draft etc.
TSI for turbine supervision (Bentley Nevada system)
The system for monitoring of turbine vibration, shaft position, differential expansion etc.
ETS for turbine safety(Allen Bradley PLC)
• Making logic modification and also new logic in ICC whenever required for smooth operation of plant.
• Replaced the Local PLC system into DCS.
• Review of P&IDs and SAMA logics of different systems and providing changes or modifications to be
incorporated in the drawing.
• Making functional block diagram type graphics in Fox View for easy understanding of complicated and
frequently needed logic written in ICC.
• Changing of HMI mimic, Tagging and assign the new channel.
• Creating History and trend of I/Os.

RB (Runback Logics), DEH (Digital Electro-Hydraulics) etc.
(4) Field Instrument
• Calibration and loop checking of the all field instruments (Emerson Rosemount, ABB, Honeywell,
Yokogawa ...). Maintenance and calibration of the control valves (Pneumatic, NRV, SOV ...).

3. • Maintenance and calibration of the Motorized operated valves (MOV) of Rotorq IQ, AUMA, and
Shanghai electric.
• Coal feeder Installation and maintenance.
• O2 analyzer installation.
• Local field panel diagrams making and maintaining.
• Actively Participated during Boiler Light-up and turbine rolling activities also ability to handle these
activities individually during the shift from control and instrumentation side.
• Many times experienced the emergency trip of unit. With the help of historians, trends, SOEs,
Operator Log, etc., identified the root causes, sequence of events that forced tripping of unit as a
whole. Also checked the corresponding protocols to ensure healthiness of tripping system.
(5) Managerial work
• Work on SAP PM Module for maintenance work.
• Work for APL factory standard C&I laboratory NABL certification.
• A little Experience for SAP MM module for spare management.
• Documentation of Calibration report, Daily shift log book, diagram and user manual files, Logic
modification file, Shut down job list.
• Root cause analysis for plant tripping by analysis of operator action log, SOE log,
Trend analysis.
