Proactive Surveillance is accomplished via various monitoring tools like Big Brother, Patrol, and

Also co-ordinate with the Application Development teams for Tier III support.
• Minimize both the number and duration of any crisis and follow-up with the appropriate teams
(Development, Operations, DBAs) to implement improved monitoring to prevent the recurrence of
similar outages.
• Document best practices for outage resolution with the goal of reducing the MTTR (mean time to
repair) for application outages.
• Preparing the server analysis reports (CPU and Memory utilization, workloads etc) on the weekly
bases.
