- 2. PRINT RESOURCES NEWSPAPER: Newspaper can be cut, marked, clipped, pasted, field, and recycled. Newspaper make learning fun. Complete the magic square. JOURNAL : Research articles on mathematics topics. Journal give greater depth in topic. It provides opportunities for group work and discussion .
- 3. AUDIO RESOURCES AUDIO TAPES: It is used to records the various seminars, workshops and conference. It is used to evaluate the teaching and learning programme. DVDS: we can record a lecture or talk given by the experts and played back after sometimes.
- 4. VISUAL RESOURCES PICTURES: We can interact with student. It helps to develop student teacher relationship. It helps in motivating a new topic. CHARTS: Summarizing a lesson. Motivating the student. Showing steps in proving theorems.
- 5. POSTERS poster materials convey a message to students. It will be in the form of pamphlets. Posters are aimed towards masses to give information . there are three points to make a poster: 1. The theme idea –clearly stated 2. Design of the poster –should be attractive 3. Colour management –use attractive colours
- 6. FLASH CARDS A flash card is a rectangle shaped piece of card, mathematics formula or something is written or some picture is drawn and flashed for a short time . Uses of flash cards: some questions or steps are written on the flash cards. It enables the students to recognize mathematical concepts, formula , etc.
- 7. MODELS Of all the visual aids models are nearest to live or real experiences . models are very helpful in making the subject clear to the students and they also give the students an idea of the students . Models are three dimensional representation.
