I talked about my interested in software for teaching and learning and standard for that software as well as approaches to teaching first technoloyg courses

China's interest in open education, OER, MOOCs, and big data

Why do teachers (not) use the institutional repository?

Sulis snapshot of usage and evaluation

Mobile learning, or m-learning, refers to learning that takes advantage of portable technologies and can occur anywhere. With the rise of mobile devices and a new digital generation of students, m-learning allows for anytime, anywhere interaction with tutors, other learners, and educational content. While m-learning provides benefits like increased student motivation and engagement, it also presents challenges such as potential distraction and cheating as well as issues with device compatibility and teacher training. For m-learning to be effective in schools, clear guidelines, cost analysis, and continued support are needed.
Integration Of Evolving Technology

It describes how the district uses portable conferencing equipment for virtual field trips and distance learning. Sakai 2.0 Architecture Update 2005-06-09

Building Interoperable tools Using Standards
This document summarizes Dr. Charles Severance's work over the past 20 years developing open source education technologies and standards. It shows his early work developing asynchronous video courses in the late 1990s, contributions to the Sakai and Moodle open source projects, and leadership in establishing the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability standard in the late 2000s to allow tools to integrate with learning management systems. More recently, his goal has been to create an "app store for learning applications" to empower teachers and learners to easily find, use, and create new educational technologies.

Dr. Vijay Kumar is Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Director of the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology, DUE at MIT. In this capacity he provides leadership for sustainable technology-enabled educational innovation at MIT. In his prior roles at MIT as Assistant Provost and Director of Academic Computing, as well at other institutions, Vijay provided leadership for units engaged in delivering infrastructure and services for the effective integration of information technology and media services in education. Vijay was the Principal Investigator of O.K.I (Open Knowledge Initiative), a MIT-led collaborative project to develop an open architecture for enterprise educational applications.
Vijay is a member of the Advisory Committee of MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) and a member of the steering committee for I-Campus, the MIT-Microsoft Alliance initiative for educational technology. He is the Executive officer for MIT's Council on Educational Technology. Vijay also served on the Applications Strategy Council for Internet2, as a Trustee of the Corporation for Research and Education Networking (CREN), Chair of the Boards of the Seminars on Academic Computing (SAC) Snowmass, CO and NERCOMP.
Vijay is an active champion of open education efforts: As an honorary Advisor to India's National Knowledge Commission he has been engaged in advancing Open and technology enabled initiatives for educational access and quality in India; He is actively involved in efforts, such as those supported by the Hewlett Foundation, and Curriki to advance the use of Open Educational Resources for improving educational access and quality. He is also an advisor to the Open University of Catalonia.

Whatever the motivation for considering online learning, liberal arts colleges are forging new ground in bringing the liberal arts educational model--highly interactive, close work between students and faculty--into an online context. This seminar will explore a variety of models for using technology to fulfill the essential learning outcomes of liberal education and suggest ways faculty might enhance their courses with online teaching.

LTI Advantage is the next major integration standard for learning management systems (LMS). It uses new technologies like JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) and public/private key infrastructure (PKI) to securely launch tools and access user data and grading services. Tsugi is a next generation digital learning environment that allows for an educational app store and interoperability between different learning tools and content repositories. It fills gaps between existing standards like IMS Learning Tools Interoperability and IMS Common Cartridge. For the first time, an app store or learning object repository can be created without proprietary extensions. Tsugi aims to make educational technology startups and tools that teach easier to build, enrich open educational content, and allow for seamless integration and reuse of content across different systems through open standards.

LTI aims to allow learning tools from different providers to integrate securely with learning management systems. Version 2.0 introduced a RESTful architecture using JSON and registration of tools to share capabilities. Version 2.1 will add re-registration capabilities. Common Cartridge and Caliper analytics standards also relate to advancing open interoperability.

How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.
