This report provides a comparative analysis of two Chinese herbal medicine shops located in different geographical areas: Poh Aun Tong Medical Hall in Georgetown, Penang and Huah Shan Medical Hall in Klang Valley, Selangor. Interviews were conducted at each shop to collect information. The report analyzes the collected information through research and concludes that Huah Shan Medical Hall is more commercially successful due to having a greater annual revenue, higher customer numbers, and offering a wider variety of goods. Recommendations are provided for how the businesses can improve their competitiveness.
