2. Research Grant Assignment
Specification
• A professor’s research grant proposal, if accepted, starts the procedure
for preparing and publishing an announcement;
• Candidates can send requests for that particular announcement up to
the deadline;
• When the deadline arrives, a Selection Committee is appointed;
• The members establish a final ranking list based on provided titles
(publications, degree grade, certifications, phd,..) and eventual
interviews;
• A winner will be elected, which discusses the research topic and starts
the job;
• Before the contract expiration, the winner must send a report on his
research activities;
• It will be evaluated and the Secretary may propose a contract renewal
that the candidate may accept or not.

Implementation: Bizagi Studio
• We were able to implement inter-process communication
between our two pools
• A new feature called Collaboration has been implemented by
Bizagi Studio
– It allows a process to send a message to another process by specifying the
corresponding catch message event and the receiver process case id

• Replace multi-instance tasks with cycles (XOR-join, throw
message and XOR-split)
• Replace tasks that send messages with task + throw message
