• INTRODUCTION 
• Handloom industry is largest direct employee more than 3 
million weavers and 12.4 among traditional industry. It and is 
the second largest employment generator after agriculture 
• Art of weaving handloom is from ancient and tradional 
technique 
• It contributes about 14 per cent to industrial production, 4 per 
cent to the gross domestic product (GDP), and 27 per cent to 
the country's foreign exchange inflows.

• Target of 5 lakh meter every month . It is 
achieving up to 4 lakh meter. 
• Financial crisis is more funds are not realized 
by the government. 
• Working hour of employee is only for 7-8 
hours
SUGGESTIONS 
• To promote, aid and growth and development of 
the handloom industry . 
• The company is focusing on four basic segments 
namely quality, customer satisfaction, on time 
delivery and price competitiveness. 
• Increase the present turnover of rs.15.0 crore to 
rs.20.0 crore by 2014 turnover should be 25 crore
CONCLUSION AND LEARNING 
• KHDCL Handlooms could be one of the leading 
the market in next 5 years 
• Various products range for both male and female 
• Introducing kids wear, Sherwin’s and casuals for 
men and new prints/ designs for women 
• I had a great experience at KHDC Ltd, Bangalore. 
It was great knowledge base and an excellent 
training program we had in the company. The 
staff of KHDC is so co-operative and friendly in 
their approach of training.

SUGGESTIONS • To promote, aid and growth and development of the handloom industry . • The company is focusing on four basic segments namely quality, customer satisfaction, on time delivery and price competitiveness. • Increase the present turnover of rs.15.0 crore to rs.20.0 crore by 2014 turnover should be 25 crore

CONCLUSION AND LEARNING • KHDCL Handlooms could be one of the leading the market in next 5 years • Various products range for both male and female • Introducing kids wear, Sherwin’s and casuals for men and new prints/ designs for women • I had a great experience at KHDC Ltd, Bangalore. It was great knowledge base and an excellent training program we had in the company. The staff of KHDC is so co-operative and friendly in their approach of training.
