Immersion Disposable Thermocouples are used to measure the temperature directly, precisely and instantly through immersion method, in the production & refining of iron, steel & other ferrous and non-ferrous in Electric Arc Furnaces, other melting furnaces, LD converters, Ladles, etc and for the chemical analysis of the metal during its manufacturing stage. It is a simple and cost effective instrument and provides the quickest way to get the most accurate readings. To measure the temperature, the thermocouple is connected to the coupling lance. Which contains the polarized contact block.
The ladles are of completely welded design and reinforced by two stiffener rings with special reinforcement in the area of the trunnions (similar to AISE-Standard No. 9). Ladle shell and Bottom plate are furnished with deOilsing holes so that humidity and Oiles generated during drying of the new lining may escape. The deOilsing holes (Ø10) shall be placed on a grid with approx. 350 mm distance. The forged trunnion pins are welded into the trunnion ring and into the ladle shell. Three ladle feet are welded to the ladle bottom to permit placing on ground floor. A tilting device is provided at the ladle bottom which is designed so that the tilting hook to the crane can be engaged and/or disengaged without manual help. The flat ladle bottom is furnished with an opening for the base plate (by others) for fixing the slide gate.
The ladle is equipped with one bayonet for fixing the porous plugs as well as the piping installation to the porous plugs.

The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

6. TILTING DEVICE
Information
We are engaged in the manufacturing of Turnover Device for various field of application.

Field Of Application
REMSO - tilting devices are used everywhere in the Steel Foundries where it is required to
tilt coils, plates , slabs, thick or thin plates, Billet, Bloom, Segment Top Frame, etc. by 45°,
90° or 180° for inspection , condition monitoring, grinding, scarfing, torching or any other
action to be taken on the said material.
Equipments Design
Depending on the production requirements, Remso has developed wide range of Steel Mill
Equipment products as well as specialize in custom equipment design solutions. The
equipment is designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of the Steel mill. Based
on the production objectives or issues our equipment is designed to function in the limited
space requirements available in the mill process line.
Our equipment is sturdy, robust and compact in design with two supporting arms / frame.
Each supporting frame and turnover device includes a pair of independently rotating leaves
adapted for supporting and to cooperate in transferring the object from one leaf to the other.
The supporting and turnover devices are arranged to permit convenient transfer from one
such device to another
This device enables lifting of object like slab, coils etc. through lifting ARM for turning /
rotating by 45°, 90° or 180° and placing / resting on the receiving ARM for inspection
purpose. Using our equipments the main parts of the object are accessible easily and
therefore well protected against damage.

7. Our machine consists of followings
1. Resting platform in receiving arm as well as lifting arm.
2. Holding (gripping) mechanism.
3. Stopper for slippage or damage.
4. Hydraulic unit is logically programmed to operate individually and sequentially.
5. Scale removal system accommodated in the machine.
6. Hydraulic oil and lubrication collection point inside the pit.
7. Local Control post (working panel).
8. Operation Control: Either pendent or Local Control Post shall be operative at a time.

8. Operation of Machine
Operation of the machine takes place from a separate control cabinet which also includes the control
unit with PLC and frequency converter.
The machine is equipped with a process control terminal inside the switchgear cabinet door being
directly linked with the PLC. This leads to a great number of advantages compared to conventional
machine control systems:
Record automatically the ongoing and summary volume of the work piece handle and transferring this
information to the Steel Plant’s main computer system
Easy preselection and speed separately or sequentially for all Arm and via function buttons
"Clear text" fault indication with memory later listing of faults
Special functions as a standard like Gripping control, indication of the work piece in rest position,
Vertical Position, totalizer and many more
All data being important for the process are available in the PLC and therefore usable for logical
combinations
Easy to realize Interface for superior control systems
Preselection of Lifting Arm and Receiving Arm can be started automatically in required sequence

9. SLAB TILTING MACHINE
Slab Tilting Machine alongwith other subsidiary units such as slab-handling system,
electrical and hydraulic equipment and automation system as well as ancillary equipment
such as fine dust filtering system, chips conveyor systems, industrial cooling systems and
fire-extinguishing units is used to turn or tilt the slab.
Working Process Of Slab Tilting Machine:
The slab is placed by the overhead crane on loading and unloading stations. Each loading
and unloading stations is designed to take one slab. The cross transfer system takes the slab
from the loading station to the slab weighing device and then to the grinding table.
When the slab has been grounded it is inspected. A cross transfer system takes the slabs to a
joint slab tilting device. The slab is then tilted around its lengthwise axis for inspection.
This process is again repeated for the side of the slab which still has to be inspected.
On completion of inspection of the slab it is again weighed and placed on the loading and
unloading station. And then it is removed by the overhead crane.

tables, cranes);

11. COIL TILTING MACHINE
REMSO designs and manufactures different models of coil tilter, for workshops
where a turning of coils from eye horizontal configuration to eye vertical
configuration and vice versa is needed. The machine is fully hydraulically operated
to rotate coil by 90º to move a roll or coil from its side to an end or vice versa. They
are often used as palletizers or depalletizers.
The mechanism features hydraulic double effect pistons.
The cradle can have a protection to avoid damages on the coils.
