Design and fabrication of hydraulic pipe bending machine
This document describes the design and construction of a hydraulic pipe bending machine. The machine aims to address common problems with manually operated pipe bending systems, which require tremendous human effort, have high labor costs, and can result in defects. The hydraulic pipe bending machine uses a hydraulic jack to generate large bending forces with minimal human effort. It consists of a base frame, mounting points for pulleys of various diameters, a hydraulic jack between the pulleys, and retraction springs. Pipes are inserted between the pulleys and bent into the desired shape when the hydraulic jack handle is operated. The machine allows for safe and damage-free bending of pipes for applications in automotive, agriculture, and other industries.

Hot metal ladle
The ladles are of completely welded design and reinforced by two stiffener rings with special reinforcement in the area of the trunnions (similar to AISE-Standard No. 9). Ladle shell and Bottom plate are furnished with deOilsing holes so that humidity and Oiles generated during drying of the new lining may escape. The deOilsing holes (Ø10) shall be placed on a grid with approx. 350 mm distance. The forged trunnion pins are welded into the trunnion ring and into the ladle shell. Three ladle feet are welded to the ladle bottom to permit placing on ground floor. A tilting device is provided at the ladle bottom which is designed so that the tilting hook to the crane can be engaged and/or disengaged without manual help. The flat ladle bottom is furnished with an opening for the base plate (by others) for fixing the slide gate.
The ladle is equipped with one bayonet for fixing the porous plugs as well as the piping installation to the porous plugs.

- 3. Slag Raking Machine for Hot Metal Ladle The slag skimmer is used to rake the slag layer from the surface of molten metal. It can be used on iron and steel ladles, aluminum holding furnaces and in other hot metal areas. This reduces the metallurgical load. It is a hydraulically operated machine of sturdy construction for use in steel plants. The linkages are designed to facilitate digging into the crust of hot metal and skim the slag out of the ladle. The design incorporates horizontal rake movement and a large bearing base for slew movement. The following motions are possible: FORWARD AND REVERSE MOVEMENT OF THE RAKING ARM: ROTATION OR SLEW OF THE RAKE ARM TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT OF CENTER AND EXTENDED TRAVEL TO THE RIGHT TO A PARKED POSITION: VERTICAL MOVEMENTS OF THE RAKE ARM: There are various type of mounting arrangements depending on the customer's Hot Metal Shop layout and the area available for skimming.
