For each criteria, level 5 demonstrates thorough understanding and mastery, level 4 demonstrates thoughtful understanding, level 3 demonstrates basic understanding, level 2 demonstrates limited understanding requiring revision, and level 1 demonstrates little understanding requiring revision.
