Jill his romantic student lover seems to have no real depth throughout the film as
well. This is seen in several occasions such as the Russian roulette scene where she
(an intelligent student) has really no clue as to the fact that something is seriously
wrong with both Abe and their relationship. She seems to be only there to serve as
something different and new in Abe s otherwise depressing life. Unfortunately
while this would be a perfectly fine character persona for an extra in the film, it just
didn t work in with being tied to one of the main characters. This is disappointing

In her book Skloot describes a man named Ted Slavin, who was born and grew up
with hemophilia. In the 1950 s the only kind of treatment for hemophilia was a
blood transfusion. Today screening blood for disease is a regular practice to make
sure the recipient is still healthy, but in the 50 s that wasn t common or standard so
the possibility for contamination was much greater. Because of this, the hepatitis
B virus was present in some of Slavin s blood and the exposure to the virus caused

Through out my career I ve worked with difficult leaders and I ve also worked with
leaders that have made an impressionable impact on my life. I have been able to see
firsthand, the things that I don t want to be like as a leader and also what I strive
and desire to achieve as a leader. Good leaders are great coaches that are
continuously looking to help their employees grow and succeed.
I ve always excelled with leaders that have reached out to me. Leaders that are
compassionate and encouraging. Because of this, I was more committed, willing to
go that extra mile, and be more vulnerable and authentic. This has influenced and
shaped me in being a better employee and is an example of how I want to lead.
According to Noonan (2003), effective leaders recognize their own limitations,
capitalize on the talents of others and acknowledge the power and contributions of
individuals and the group. Effective leaders understand that the members are

The first vampire book I have ever read was Interview with the Vampire, which
peaked my love for vampire literature. This novel is a part of a series of Vampire
Chronicles written by the author Anne Rice. Rice was born on October 4, 1941 in
New Orleans, Louisiana. Her real name is Howard Allen Frances O Brien; named
after her father. When she was in first grade her name was changed to Anne. She
was raised in a conservative Catholic home and attended a parochial school as a
young girl. In 1958 her family moved to Richardson, Texas where she would gradate
high school. According to Biography.com, Rice studied briefly at Texas Women s
University and North Texas State College. After marrying Stan Rice, she eventually
moved to California, where she earned her degree at San Francisco State College.

Before her successful career as a writer of vampire novels and erotica she tried her
hand at several different jobs. She was a cook, a waitress and an insurance
examiner before she began her true calling. Her inspiration for her first novel
Interview with a Vampire was inspired by the death of her daughter Michele, who
at the tender age of five died of leukemia. The character Claudia in the story is based
on her dead child, as an outlet for her pain and probably as a way to keep her alive
forever. After her first novel Interview with the Vampirewas published in 1976 she
gained a vast following of readers who shared a love for the supernatural.
Her novel was such a hit that in 1994 it was turned into a movie starring Brad Pitt
as the vampire Louis and Tom Cruise at the vampire Lestat. The movie would be
called Interview with a Vampire, instead of Interview with the Vampire. Luckily I
was able to read the book before I was even remotely interested in watching the
movie. I was completely drawn to Anne Rice after reading her novel back in 2000
when I was in high school. She changed my view of what I think vampires should be;
turning them from a hideous, blood sucking monster to a beautiful and mysterious
person full or raw human emotion.

In the digital age everyone wants to see a video of what happened rather than
eyewitness accounts. This video evidence can allow officers to monitor their own

agency. Body cameras have been adopted by many agencies and I feel that they
will not be going away unless a new technology replaces the system in place. The
new technology in the criminal justice field that could be adopted by law
enforcement agencies is the way for officers to run facial recognition on

of ways from running software in the car on people who pass the vehicle. Another
way that this software could be implemented is through the use of goggles or
glasses much like an augmented reality headset. This can create a realtime way for
officers to identify individuals to see if the have a BOLO or have an outstanding
warrant. Facial recognition would have to take great leaps to make it a practical way
