Monitor Visually Displaying the image on Screen, they come in a very of different
sizes and resolutions. The monitor is an output device where is receives information
from the computer to display the image on the screen in the form of pixels. This data
usually comes from the Graphics Card or the integrated graphics within the processor
outputted by the motherboard. This connects to the computer either via HMDI, VGA,
DVI or Thunderbolt.
Graphics Card display the data on the screen. These consist of small pixels but
many millions of them. So the graphics card is a translator and takes binary data
from the CPU and turns it into a picture you can see on the monitor. Unless there is
an integrated GPU built in with the motherboard then this replaces it. It s

Supermarket duopoly and Price Wars
Woolworths and Coles strong power is becoming the deciding factor of Australia s
economic health. Both of these are supermarket giants which are eliminating the
competitors from the market and, the local manufacturers and farmers are also
feeling pressurized. 1 They have brought in the position of duopoly in the market
wherein for certain service, industry or commodity only two suppliers, businesses and
organizations dominate. Woolworths and Coles are squeezing the supplier s margins
as their market share is growing continuously. 80% of the share of the Australian
grocery market is held by both of them together and globally also they hold unique
positions. 1 With 96% of the active trading business and employment to over five
million Australians, small businesses highly contribute to the Australian economy.
The small local shops struggle to compete and the consumer s favourite brands
disappear in duopoly which is prevalent now. The two supermarket giants

Urban Education Reform
There are various reasons people continue to move from urban areas to the suburbs.
These reasons include the fact that rural areas have better education, lower crime
rates, better infrastructure, and inequality in the public services offered. Also, with
the recent rise the population growth, cities have become more crowded and continue
to grow beyond capacity, which contributes to people relocating to less population
dense rural areas, such as the suburbs.
In regards to increasing the appeal of urban living, there are certain steps local
government can take to do so. One area of concern that needs to be addressed to

Examples Of The Narrator In To Kill A Mockingbird
Have ever doubted the accuracy of the facts and events described in a narration
while reading a book? The narrator (especially when a novel is written in first
person) is not always a reliable source for the information the reader is receiving,
which happens because from this narration, the perception of the events happening
can include the storytellers biases and prejudices. If story s relator sees the world in
a different way, as it happens in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird
by Harper Lee, then
the reader would perceive the events that happen in the book from a different point

A clear example of this is Miss Caroline s case. Since she does not come from
Maycomb (a town heavily affected by the great depression), but from a more
privileged place in the south, and therefore sees the world with more innocence and
fantasy. This helps the reader to understand the reality of the children living in
Maycomb
Miss Caroline seemed unaware that the ragged, denim shirted and floursack skirted
first grade, most of whom had chopped cotton and fed hogs from the time they were
able to walk, were immune to imaginative literature (Lee H., 1960)
The reader then realizes how living in an environment in the countryside affects a
child s life and point of view. The fact that Scout was born and raised in the southern
countryside changes the way she perceives Miss Caroline s story. Instead of hearing
the story and finding it interesting and entertaining, she just ome back to reality and
makes the reader view Miss Caroline s stories as unrealistic and boring. Scouts
environment changes her point of view when Walter Cunningham arrives to eat at her
house.

This essay will look at reflection on a critical incident that has promoted a positive
outcome. It is not a very major incident but it stands out as it has a potential for
learning. This essay will identify and explain Johns (1994) model of reflection and
explain what reflection is and why reflective practice is necessary and how it can be
used. Schone (1983) recommended reflection on critical incidence as a valuable
term, sited in Ghaye and Lillyman (1997) a critical incident id defined as
incidence happen, but critical incidence are produced by the way we look at a

They say that models of reflection help us to learn from experiences, help us
overcome professional inertia by asking us to look at what we do. They tend to add
more meaning to our clinical practice through reflective conversations and influence
future actions.
John s model (1994) is a model of guided reflection, this enables reflective
practitioners to access, make sense of and learn through experiences. It consists of a
series of questions, which are split into five groups. Description, reflection,
influencing factors, alternative strategies and learning.
In choosing John s model (1994) there seems to be such a wide range of cues that it
enables every aspect of the critical incident to be thought about, described, questioned,
feelings are brought about while exploring many issues.
