5. Teaching Pre-School Students To Love Nature
Example of Recount Text

6. Orientation (paragraph 1)
Last holiday, I joined a program in
my university called KKN (Kuliah
Kerja Nyata) with my friends. We
were sent to Ngipik village. The most
unforgettable experience when I
joined KKN is teaching pre-school
students. That day we taught the
children about “loving the nature”.

7. Series of Events (paragraph 2)
We began our classroom activities
by bringing the our students to the
schoolyard. We had some fun
activities such as “throw and catch the
ball”. We did this activity to attract
their attention as well as have fun with
them.

After having fun with “throw and
catch the ball” game, we guided the
students to clean the area near their
schoolyard. They were very
enthusiastic. As their teacher, we also
did not forget to encourage and
compliment them.

9. Re-Orientation
Before closing the class, we also
taught them about the importance of
cleanliness. In my opinion, the most
successful teaching activity during my
KKN is that day.
