• A text which is talk about everything
happened in the past

4. Characteristic of recount text
• Using past tense
– Example : we went to beach, I was happy, etc.
• Using conjunctions
– Example : and, but, the, after that, etc.
• Using adverbs and adverbial phrase
– Example : yesterday, at my house, slowly, etc.
• Using action verbs
– Example : went, slept, run, brought, etc.
