To whom it may concern,
Steven Swanepoel commenced working with Kentz in 2008 as a Senior Safety Officer
working in our Technical Support Services Group (shutdowns department) on the Petro SA,
Sasol and HF Natref projects (Contact Manager: Gerry De Beer).
He was then appointed as HSE Manager in Zambia from 2009 to 2011 on the E&I
Modernization Project with Indeni Refinery (Contact Manager: Nick McCarthy). Thereafter he
was appointed as Project HSE Manager on the HF Alky Phase 2 Project, Natref Sasolburg.
Steven was then appointed to the Medupi Power Plant Project as Lead Risk Assessor and
Co-ordinator. Subsequently, he received an international appointment from Kentz
Corporation on the Drilling support base Project for Exxon Mobil in Papua New Guinea, as
the Project HSE Manager. (Contact Managers: Russell Sheehan and Adrian Collins).
We were impressed Steven’s attitude towards his work and his performance on the job.
Steven possesses solid HSE Systems skills. He also has the analytical skills to diagnose
problems, hazards and devise viable solutions in field activities. His proven ability to
consistently score highly with client audits has proven Steven’s ability to deliver under
pressure.
I recommend Steven for employment without reservation. Please contact me know if you
require any further information.
Thank you,
Kind regards
