Previous Employment Experience
August 2007 – September 2012 AWE Plc Equipment Manager & Works Supervisory Officer
Responsibilities involved the day-to-day operational management and supervision of specialist
research, development, manufacturing and production facilities, dealing with third party service
providers that included reviewing their Safe System of Work submissions, arranging and seeking
security, estates department and facility management approvals that included, when required, full
supervision of persons who were not fully security cleared for the work being undertaken
Equipment and facility refurbishment, including Business Case submission for capital expenditure
funding, concept design, implementing change management, overseeing installation and ensuring
that aftersales calibration and maintenance activities have been completed, before final close out of
the change or modification of plant and equipment that is either bespoke or Commercially Off The
