We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2. Introduction -
For the past 6 months we have been working on this project which is Music Video promotion, We
had to create a music video, Advert which was a Tour Poster and also a Digipak. To create these
we were using software's for the planning such as Slide Share, this was when we are uploading
PowerPoints etc. onto Blogger. We would also use software's for the production stage, such as
Photoshop for Digipaks and Adverts, Premier Pro for the Editing of the Music Video . We also
used hardware for the Production such as cameras and shoulder mount and tripods, these were
to help us with all of the setting up of the cameras and to help us keep everything steady for all
the different shot which we had to do.
3. Pre-Production & Planning
Google Drive to create an audience questionnaire and to gain the feedback. We have been using
Google docs, to help us create the questionnaires and we have been putting them onto our
blogger, sharing on social media get feedback in specific audience ages relating to our target
audience. For example we made a questionnaire about what would be seen in the music video in
the preliminary stage before we had even planned the music video. This was much easier to do
this time around from when we were very first using it in year 12. I feel that having the knowledge
to do this meant i could do it quicker and more efficient.
4. Digital Cameras (DSLRs) to create your storyboard and recce form. For my storyboard I didn’t take
photos, I drew this out, I then had to use the scanner to scan in the storyboard. Knowing how to use
the scanner was very easier and simple as Emily and I have both used this before.
Google Sites to present your research &; planning materials. We used Blogger to upload all of the
content to, this is keeping it all together in one space where is won get lost.
Digital Cameras.
5. Production
Digital Video Cameras to film the music video
We decided to use DSLR cameras to film most of our footage we also used our phones for small
pieces of footage for example the shots of people of on their phones, these were a good mixture
as we could film footage on the go which is easier. The cameras were also quite easy to use as
we had been taught in a previous lesson of what to do and how to use them. Doing it on our
own was quite difficult as we couldn’t get the camera to focus in the first try. But as we got used
to the camera and tried the second time we could do this much easier.
6. Digital Cameras – Digipak & Magazine
Digital Cameras (DSLRs) to photograph your Digipak & Magazine AdvertisementTo take the
photos for my digipak and advert i used my Iphone these came out really good and clear on my
phone. This was easy to use and also very quick so wasn’t time consuming for us so we dealt
with no difficulties.
7. Post-Production
Adobe Photoshop/iPhoto Editing Software to edit your final digipak & magazine
advertisement together (include any specific edits or visual effect work that you did at this stage)
For our digipak/advert we used Photoshop, this was easy to use as we had used this in previous
projects. I used youtube tutorials to get the ripped effect on the photos. These tutorials were
simple and easy to follow and to add my own twist to it, the only difficulty with this was there was
one step which they had on their photoshop which i didn’t have on mine which blurred the rip
effect more so it looked bolder, but for me this wasn’t a problem. For the Digipak and Advert i
took most of the responsibility.
8. Evaluation
Google Sites to write your evaluation - Both Emily and I used a shared document on google docs
this was really easy for us as we could help each other with anything that needed doing and put
comments on each others questions to help out. This was quick and easy to do as we have used
this before.
9. Prezi & Microsoft PowerPoint & GarageBand
Prezi to present your evaluation - Emily is using Prezi to present her two questions in the
evaluation, this is a simple and easy technology to use whilst putting the work on. The only
difficulties would have been the process of getting all of the words onto the Prezi.
Microsoft PowerPoint to present your evaluation - I am using Microsoft PowerPoint for my
evaluation, this is also a easy and quick technology to use so can be uploaded quickly from my
docs.
GarageBand to record your evaluation - Emily and I both decided to write up our evaluation
instead of talking.
