Real Estate Tech Tips At Record Speed

  2. Ok – do we all agree that most people probably keep their email address up to date on LinkedIn? Sure – no one wants to miss out on that next big job opportunity. Want to know how to export those contacts so you can get them in to your CRM, let them know you are in real estate and communicate with them automatically? Go to your home page on LinkedIn, click on “Connections”.
  3. Click on the “settings” icon. It’s on the upper right.
  4. Export to .CSV file and import into TP or whatever CRM you use. Reconnect with people and let them know you are in Real Estate - get them on a drip program. You can easily send them an invitation landing page for sign-up for Market Snapshot. Then you will automatically stay in touch. Set it and forget it technology at it’s best. For those of you not familiar with the Market Snapshot landing page and the actual Market Snapshot report… take a look at the next slide.
  5. Let your new contacts know you are in real estate and send them a link to this fantastic page. This landing page comes free with “Market Snapshot” and it generates requests for the actual report. You can literally tell your contacts you can provide them a snapshot view of their neighborhood including what their home is currently worth. All they have to do is fill out 3 simple fields, then you can get them on an “automated” campaign so you stay in touch without having to lift a finger. The best thing you can do is NEVER be out of touch.
  6. Would it be awesome to have a bit of insight into someone’s personality before calling, texting or emailing? Great to know if someone is casual, yes? Or if they’re more formal – you’d want to know that, right? Welcome to Crystal Knows. She doesn’t read minds… but she reads what she can about people to help you determine your best approach. This is a bit creepy – are you ready?
  7. Do you think it’s important to be notified anytime someone posts anything about you online? Sure. But let’s take it a step farther… do you want to know when your listing has been mentioned online? Sure. Has anyone heard about the problem of people repurposing listings and posting them on Craig’s List? So here’s a way to stay in the know. Use Goolge Alerts. It’s free. You must have a Gmail account. Simply go to Google, type in Alerts and begin to create your “alerts”. It is unlimited – so check on yourself, your broker, team members, etc. But then – place listing addresses in as well.
  8. It’s very simple to do and will only take seconds. You can tell Google to alert you immediately, once a day, once a week – your choice.

  13. First – plug in the contact’s info as you are talking to them. Fill out notes later when more appropriate. List if this is this is a friend or work related contact, etc., then list how you want to follow-up. This will provide you a way to sort names later. Then generate a Namerick. A namerick, pronounced like ”limerick”, is a fun and image-rich few words that are paired together using alliteration. (ie. the same letter/sound of each word) Namericks are designed to capitalize on other parts of your brain that are more apt at quickly remembering things. Both the repetition of sounds and the imagery of the words help to better lock a name into your memory. —— EXAMPLES ——- Jackson Juggles Jaguars (imagine him juggling big snarling jaguars!) Samantha Slaps Serpents (imagine her winding up and slapping a big green serpent) Greg Guzzles Guinness (picture him with an upside-down pitcher of thick dark beer)
  14. Then Namerick will literally remind you of “Kristi” with push notifications at psychologist tested time intervals for maximum retention. You can also search for Kristi based on what you remember. Lastly, you can sort through how you’ve grouped contacts and by follow-up plans such as “connect socially” or “investigate”.
