Reading levels
- 2. Teachers should bring students texts with authentic vocabulary. Without words
that are written for language learners.
- 3. There is some authentic written material which beginner students can
understand to some degree: menus, timetables, signs and basic instructions
- 4. How well the students are able to deal with reading material will depend on whether the texts
are designed for intensive or extensive reading.
- 5. If we want students to read for pleasure, we have to give them texts that are not too difficult
for them, so they will not feel frustrated.
