AIMS:
To write a poem starting by one of the above verbs and then rapping it.

TIME:
five sessions of 45 minutes
MATERIAL:
A computer for each group of pupils.
Some models of poem created by using the Google bar
Some models of raps (you tube)
A video camera.
DESCRIPTION:
1st session
The teacher explains the objective of the project: To write a poem and then
rap it.
Each verse of the poem will start with one of the verb written above (language
focus).
Explain the verbs.
Show how to do the poem by writing one of the words from the list above on
the Google bar. look at the list of sentences. Change one word after the word
chosen look at the changes.
Ask the pupils to write the poem in Google drive by choosing sentences
from the browser. The pupils Share it with me.
I like the way you lie
I like the way you move
I like the way you work…
2nd session
The pupils split up in groups of four.
The pupils sit at the computer by groups.
They look for the meaning of the word that they have chosen.
They start to write their poems.
The teacher move around solving doubts and helping them
3rd session
Finish the poem.
All the pupils in the group should know the meaning of each verse in
the poem.
Start to rap the poem
4th session
Finish rapping the poem.
Practice the dancing.
5th sessions
Each group explains the poem in front of the class. They explain the
meaning of the verb, the meaning of the different verses and the
different structure with the verb.
They rap the poem in front of the class.
The teacher will record the groups that want to be on the blog.
EVALUATION:
Observe the pupils when they are working in group and assess his
participation.
Assess the poem the group has written.
Assess the explanation of the poem.
Assess the final product: The rap and the pronunciation.
4th session
