Information about Rajasthan
 Rajasthan is an Indian state located in the extreme northwest of the country, on the border with
Pakistan. It is the largest state in the nation with more than 300,000 square kilometers, 10% of
India, but ranks eighth in the ranking of most populous states with just under 70 million inhabitants.
The state was formed in 1949, its capital and largest city is Jaipur and its territory includes the
spectacular Thar Desert.
 With its natural beauty and its long history, Rajasthan is one of the most important states in relation
to tourism, and receives many visitors from inside and outside the country. Among its main
attractions for tourism are the oldest archaeological ruins found in India, belonging to the
Indus Valley civilization and located in the village of Kalibanga, and also Dilwara Temples of Mount
Abu, the only mountain station in the state and recognized as a sacred place of pilgrimage for
Jainism. Other must see attractions are the famous Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, two
national tiger reserves as Ranthambore and Sariska, and a beautiful temple in Sikar district. The
invaluable tourist offer also includes other wonders such as the palaces of Jaipur and Ajmer-Pushkar,
the desert forts of Jodhpur and the Taragarh Fort in Bundi, the amazing lakes of Udaipur and the

Poultry production and egg processing industries have come up in the Rajasthan
in a big way
. The retailing business is set to boom in coming years.
Exports includes egg powders ,frozen yolk, SPF eggs,
and albumin powder to Europe, Japan and some other countries

second in organized poultry farms.
Poultry industry contributes about Rs.
400 billion accounting for about 0.7
percent of the national GDP and about
10% of the Livestock GDP. In Rajasthan
