The proposed "Rainforest Guardian Skyscraper" is designed to protect the Amazon rainforest from fires and drought. It functions as a large water tower that directly captures and stores rainwater using an "aerial root" system. In the event of fires, stored water can be used by firefighters who fly to the scene to extinguish the flames. The skyscraper also serves as a weather station and research center to monitor climate change and promote environmental awareness.

Club house at Yercaud aims in achieving this sense of oneness with Nature. From the earliest stages of this project, we have made very sincere efforts to retain the existing flora and fauna which the site has in abundance.
The Club house is located in a Gated Community of 40 houses in a 20 acre property. The chosen site is at the center of the small cliff, where cut and fill techniques have been used very minimally. We have designed our built form to be one amidst the trees, with effort made to not cut down even a single tree. Even the stones that were dug out during construction were used for retaining wall construction.
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
Our Design Approach is sympathetic to nature and the existing natural elements have been retained and the contours of the site have been incorporated into the design. The built form is very rustic with natural finish which merges with the natural landscape. The raw angular forms arise from the contours in such a way that it embraces the contiguous trees and becomes one with the backdrop. The steep cliff naturally brings in a sense of adventure while also giving the users a very good opportunity to exploit the views of the site. Various types of access ways like ramps, steps and pathways have been designed to take the user to different destinations on the site.
This site analysis consists of the analysis of site, swot, and climate. It also includes the study of the vernacular style of architecture of kerala. Also the study of the works of Laurie Baker

A review on use of sea water & solar power for agricultural purpose in co...pradip patel
In Coastal area plants do not grow properly because of the seawater. So to overcome these difficulties, the use of this technique can provide a proper plant growth. The seawater combines a solar desalination system with an environment for cultivating crops in which transpiration is minimized. To provide fresh water we use sunlight, seawater and cooled humid air to supply more sustainable environment condition for cultivation of crops in arid coastal region. This project tries to describe simulation the seawater considering condition of the arid region in district like Kutch (Gujarat) and in many countries like Iran, Oman. With desalination of seawater, it aims to provide sustainable local production of food by combining a growing environment in which water usage is minimized by solar energy. The technique is adapted for farms in arid coastal region that are suffering from salt infected soils and shortages of potable ground water. This technique may produce around 90-95% of total fresh water

We know, that not only the “greenhouse effect” is responsible for climate change. Although it is mentioned in this context very often and nearly often exclusively.
But warming due to land cover (vegetation) change may explain as much as 18% of current global warming trends.
Thermal imaging camera Workswell WIRIS ProSC allows to measure surface temperature over large areas very accurately, with high sensitivity and stability.
Roof-Top rainwater harvesting system for official / multistoried building wit...IJERA Editor
Rain water harvesting is received increased attention world wide as an alternative source of water. Roof-top rain water harvesting system is looked upon as one of the most feasible and economical ways of water conservation. With increasing problem of water scarcity, planning and designing roof top rain water harvesting is gaining wider importance to meet ever-increasing water demand, encouraging use of water or more sustainable basis. The rain water harvesting is the simple collection or storing of water for the domestic or the agriculture purpose. The method of rain water harvesting has been into practice since ancient times. The method is simple and cost effective too. Malda district of West Bengal is badly affected by Arsenic contamination in ground water. The present study finds its usefulness in developing awareness towards judicious use of water among masses and efficient ways to harvest roof top rain water resources at institutional / multistoried buildings in Malda district.
Ground water distillation by basin type solar still for different basin water...IJERA Editor
Adequate quality and reliability of drinking water supply is a fundamental need. Without potable water or
drinking water (less than about 500 ppm of salt) human life is not possible. Only 1% of Earth's water is in a
fresh, liquid state, and nearly all of this is polluted by both diseases and toxic chemicals. For this reason,
purification of water supplies is extremely important.
Keeping these things in mind, we have devised a model which will convert the saline ground water into pure
and potable water using the renewable source of energy (i.e. solar energy). Solar energy is an abundant, never
lasting, and available on site and pollution free energy.Solar Energy is freely available and can be used as a very
cheap option to convert saline ground Water through Solar Distillation, by using Solar Stills. The conventional
single basin and single slop Passive Solar Still can be used to purify water but the main problem is that the per
square meter distillate output is less. So it is need to modify the design of solar still for high output of solar
distillate
Solar still is easy to construct, can be done by local people from locally available materials, simple in
operation by unskilled Personnel, no hard maintenance requirements and almost no operation cost. Simplest
basin type models of solar still in earlier days, researchers have progressed a lot to increase its efficiency.
Suitable modification of solar still can produce high output using minimum areas of land and even in cloudy
days. Experimental study is done at Rewa M.P. on two different basin water depth solar stills. Low water depth
solar water still is produced more distillate than high water depth still by the experiment.
Desalination of Sea Water into Fresh Water Using Thermal and Tidal Powertheijes
The salt water is being a problem for a long time with decrease in fresh water reservoirs it has become difficult to survive in the future. This paper concerned on using a clean energy for converting the saline water of sea into fresh water which can be used for drinking .The tidal energy of sea is being earlier used in order to generate electricity the spare water is being pumped back into the sea but if the spare water is being converted into steam using solar thermal power and the electricity produced by tidal power, then the evaporated water after cooling can be stored which can be used for drinking. The changes are been done in order to use the central receiver thermal power plant in order to produce power as well as clean source of drinking water without depleting the natural fossil fuels and without disturbing the environment.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

1. RAINFOREST GUARDIAN SKYSCRAPER
Proposed by chinese designers jie huang, jin wei, qiaowan tang, yiwei yu and zhe hao, the ‘rainforest
guardian skyscraper’ towers over the amazonian landscape, protecting the region from the constant
threat of fire and drought.the lotus-shaped design, which received an honorable mention as part of evolo‘s
2014 skyscraper competition, primarily functions as a water tower, but is also a weather station, scientific
research center and an educational laboratory.
According to NASA, fires have destroyed 3% of the amazon rainforest over the last 12 years. These outbreaks
are hard to predict and even more difficult to control. The ‘guardian’ serves as a device capable of preventing,
monitoring and combating fire.
The proposal directly captures rainwater that is subsequently filtered and stored within ancillary reservoirs.
Aerial roots with a distinct sponge-structure absorb liquid without disturbing the region’s delicately balanced
ecosystem. In the case of flames, firefighters fly to the scene and extinguish the inferno with the previously
collected water. Research labs enable scientists to monitor climate change and the stability of the environment.
These spaces also act as exhibition galleries for tourists promoting environmental awareness.
2. The design primarily functions a water tower, but is also a weather station and scientific research center
The scheme directly captures rainwater that is subsequently filtered and stored within ancillary reservoirs
5. THE EXTINGUISHMENT PROCESS
Rainwater is collected in the reservoirs and the ‘Firefighters’ to be ready for extinguishment. The tower
provides a more effective fire detection system; it has a particular detecting area and can reach much quickly
than the GPS system, which can make sure the fire to be extinguished in time.
6. THE WATER-CYCLE REGULATING PROCESS
The other important function is capturing the surplus rainfall in the rainy season and storing the water in the
reservoir. While in the dry season, the water is delivered back to the land. This article stored delivered
mechanism is essential to prevent fires in the dry season as well as fix up the degradation of natural water –
cycle ability.
