the body.”
Radio imaging is mainly used to produce radiographs of patients using X- rays to find out the patient’s exact medical condition. The persons,
who conduct this work are called radiographers or radio technologists. In addition to X- rays, a radiographer also considers the production of
CT scans, ultrasounds and MRI.
The field of radiology has two broad areas- diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology.
Diagnostic radiology is the area of medicine specialization that uses X-Ray images and other imaging techniques to diagnose a patient’s illness
and injury.
