Electrical, man-made, and forest fires are three common types of fire disasters. Electrical fires are often caused by faulty outlets, outdated appliances, light bulbs that are too high wattage for fixtures, and too many connections overloading extension boxes. Man-made fires frequently start from unextinguished cigarettes, fireworks that spark dry leaves, leaking fuel from cars, and transporting gas cylinders or kerosene stoves unsafely. Forest fires usually begin from lightning strikes but sometimes from spontaneous combustion of dry materials like sawdust and leaves, and can be either natural or human-caused.
