For example, with the power factors of 85% in your premises, only 85% of the electrical energy being utilized. Where as the remaining 15% of the electrical energy remain unused. - If the power factors is are still not been corrected, it will cause the drop of the voltage due to the loss of power. The drop of voltage is due to the excessive flow of electrical current that will cause ‘ overheating ’ and damage on the inductive load.
