EMR
Our story – An Inspiration
I used to visit a good pediatrician in Malleswaram Bangalore for my son. I
would take a token from receptionist and wait there for hours, It is a very
crowded clinic. A busy doctor that he is, most times, I knew he wouldn’t
remember me, has no time to see the prescription, always asked when I
have visited last time, what was the reason??
Being a Software person myself, I always noticed a laptop on his table, I
have never seen him use it…. This forced me to ask him why not you use
some software. His answer surprised me, he said ‘I have tried many
software but none are user friendly and hence I am not comfortable to use
it’. He sees on a average 60-70 patients in a busy day. I googled and found
most solutions gives only appointment and stand alone / web based system,
there is nothing in tablet which can help the doctor in writing prescription,
giving summarized history of visits, is there any system which can minimize
my waiting time or at least give some idea about my turn while ……
Cont’d
…… I used to wait in the waiting room, Like every parent I frequently go
the nurse ask what token is running now and when is my turn? Can I not
know this while watching some good content on the TV itself? So that I
don’t have to worry about my turn? Can I not get on-demand instead
asking each time to the nurse?
To address all this I came up with a tablet based solution, which we later
found doctors are more comfortable with touches than clicks ..
The same doctor now use our solution and in a busy day he is able to clock
more than 90 patients and without compromising the quality / quantity of
the time he spends with the patient.. In fact after using the solution he
gets more quality time to spend with the patient.
Our story – An Inspiration
• Many medical errors happens due to the misread or otherwise
misinterpreted handwritten prescriptions.
• Only 1 doctor to serve 2000 people in India.
• Out of 15000 hospitals only 300 odds have some sort of EMR.
• The percentage of clinics which have some sort EMR is even lesser.
• The EMR adoption rate is very slow in India.
• No solution that is fully customizable to doctor’s need.
• Nothing Available in the market which has a Doctor – Patient –
Pharma interface.

QH Business Strategy
Goal – To bring 2000 Doctors across Three
Specialties in ONE YearHow do we do it?
• Success Launch of QuickHealth in Bangalore has triggered us to Move to
other Metropolitan cities like Pune and Bhubaneswar and also launch the same
in Cosmopolitan Cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
• Most Doctors using Quick-health are all references, as doctors find QH to be
value add to their current practice.
• Data says – there over 6.5 lakh Doctors in India.
• Adaptability among younger doctor (Age group: 28 – 45 years) is very high.
Though we have a few doctors falling in the age group of 60+ years.
• The hardware, Software, Installation and Training is completely Free to the Doc.
• A Minimum earning of Rs. 5000/- for each Doctor would multiple into about
Rs. 12 Crores in a year business.
• Currently, we have an Aggressive Sales force to meet Doctor, show them
a Demo would like to replicate the same across the cities that we would launch
Quick Health.
• Training and Installation Team to follow-up with Doctor for Training of his staff
and himself.
QH Business Strategy
• Looking forward to launch in 6 cities in India.
• Phase One – Bangalore and Bhubaneswar
• Phase Two – Chennai and Pune.
• Phase Three - Delhi and Mumbai.
• Sales Staff would primarily have medical representatives to enroll potential
doctors into using QH.
• The doctors are very resistant to changes, A good support system makes
them a life time customer.
• Development team supports to make changes over night, hence not
hindering Doctor’s usage of QH.
• We have already registered QuickHealth as Trademark.
