Typography
In the preliminary task I chose a very bold because it would be a lot easier for the person who is reading the magazine to see. The font is all in
caps to make it stand out. The fonts that I used meant that the reader would be intrigued into reading what my magazine was about, this is
actually conventional to the rap genre. In comparison to the magazine I have recently completed, all the fonts in the pages are extremely
conventional to the rap genre and I can see the difference in quality of the cover lines as there isn’t any on my first task.
Layout
The layout I have chosen is very spacious so the reader can understand what is going on in the magazine, this is conventional to my genre, but
compared to my finished magazine pages the preliminary task looks rather plain and boring compared to my magazine that I have recently
finished. Also the layout of my actual magazine looks a lot more ordered and there isn’t big chunks of text on the front cover which is also an
improvement from the preliminary task.
Images
You can tell the difference inqualityof the cameraworkbetweenthe preliminarytasktothe finishedpiecesinthe waythattheyuse differenttypesof
shots,comparedto the shotin the preliminarytask,the onlythingisinthe preliminarytaskthe image isspacedlovelyand itlooksconventionaltothe rap
genre, Italsolooksmore like the finishedpieces. The imagesonthe actual finishedpieceslookinbetterqualitythanthe preliminarytask,one reasonisthat
I useda phone andnot a propercamera from the mediaclassandthe otherwas that I didn’treallyknowwhatshotswere conventional,somyknowledge
has grew.
Colour
The colour I chose for the fonts was black because the image was fairly bright, so it helped the title to stand out because it was on a white
background. I have used the same sort of colours in my actual magazine, this shows that I have used a lot of the ideas I have thought of have
been used in my real magazine. I have made some improvements though like I have added some colours in such as red to my actual magazine.
The main thing I have improved on some things from the preliminary task such as my knowledge in colours has increased.
Mode of address
I have learned a lot from the preliminary task about mode of address because I have changed the type of image because in the preliminary
task the Image really didn’t look conventional so I and to change the type of dressthe artistinmy image wasgoingto wearbecause Iwantedthemto
looklike more of a bad boycomparedto my preliminarytaskpicture,the finishedimagesare somuchbetterthanthe preliminarytask.Alsothe pullquotes
I have increasedmyknowledge onaswell,asInow knowhowto make the pull quotessoundmore like real magazinepull quotes,thisisanotherthingthat
I have improvedon.

Layout The layout I have chosen is very spacious so the reader can understand what is going on in the magazine, this is conventional to my genre, but compared to my finished magazine pages the preliminary task looks rather plain and boring compared to my magazine that I have recently finished. Also the layout of my actual magazine looks a lot more ordered and there isn’t big chunks of text on the front cover which is also an improvement from the preliminary task. Images You can tell the difference inqualityof the cameraworkbetweenthe preliminarytasktothe finishedpiecesinthe waythattheyuse differenttypesof shots,comparedto the shotin the preliminarytask,the onlythingisinthe preliminarytaskthe image isspacedlovelyand itlooksconventionaltothe rap genre, Italsolooksmore like the finishedpieces.   • 3. Colour The colour I chose for the fonts was black because the image was fairly bright, so it helped the title to stand out because it was on a white background. I have used the same sort of colours in my actual magazine, this shows that I have used a lot of the ideas I have thought of have been used in my real magazine. I have made some improvements though like I have added some colours in such as red to my actual magazine. The main thing I have improved on some things from the preliminary task such as my knowledge in colours has increased. Mode of address I have learned a lot from the preliminary task about mode of address because I have changed the type of image because in the preliminary task the Image really didn’t look conventional so I and to change the type of dressthe artistinmy image wasgoingto wearbecause Iwantedthemto looklike more of a bad boycomparedto my preliminarytaskpicture,the finishedimagesare somuchbetterthanthe preliminarytask.Alsothe pullquotes I have increasedmyknowledge onaswell,asInow knowhowto make the pull quotessoundmore like real magazinepull quotes,thisisanotherthingthat I have improvedon.
