2. College Magazine Main Magazine
Research: None. Literally none. Research: Looked at 3 contents pages; front
covers and double page spreads, and evaluated
them. Took a survey from my target audience.
Looked at media packs/ audience profiles of 2
to 3 different magazines.
Planning: None, again. Planning: Made a style sheet; created a Pitch
for my magazine; made flat plans and
computer based plans.
Production: Took a photograph, used Production: I took lots of various photographs,
Fireworks and Photoshop, though I used the and decided from them which ones I should

3. As you can see from the slide before and these picture, I have learnt a lot since
making my preliminary College magazine.
.I learnt to edit photos in Photoshop, using Levels, Hue/Saturation etc..
.I learnt how to make a more professional looking front cover, the preliminary task’s front
cover looks bland/ unfinished, whereas my final one looks wholly more complete.
.I learnt to take better photographs. The photograph used in my former task looks very
grainy, thus unprofessional. My latter photos however look far better, chiefly by not being
so grainy.
