1. During my filming time I have learnt about and how to use different tools
in order to be able to make a higher quality film, such tools are as
follows:

Camera: this I already had an idea on how to use, I knew the basics however I
learnt a few other tweaks in the camera such as what modes to use at
different lightings or time of day in order to receive the best quality of picture.

Tripod: this tool I have not used many times before I started filming however it
became of the most crucial tools in order to make out media product a success as it
kept the camera still and even while we were filming which was very helpful as a
human hand is obviously no where near as steady and because we used this it
allowed us to get higher quality of shots.

Gun microphone: this microphone helped us achieve a better quality of sound
however we had to be quite accurate in the way we placed these because they
have a very long but thin line of receiving so you had to point at people when the
wanted to speak in order to get the highest quality of sound.

Voice recorder: we used this when we were doing our broadcast, we wanted to get
a decent quality of recording that is why we did not use mobile phones, the device
was quite hard to get hang of in the beginning as it was the first time I ever saw it
however it became very helpful for the sake of our movie.

Boom shield: we used this in hand with the voice recorder in order to reduce the
amount of interference we would get with words that needs emphasis hence the
name of it, it stops any sudden increase in sound which might distort it and
smooth’s it out which helped us to get the more professional result.
