The document discusses several technologies used in creating a product. After Effects was used to create titles and add text effects. A Canon camera was used to film the opening, and its settings like auto and tripod helped capture high quality footage. YouTube provided research ideas and a way to upload videos. Blogger allowed sharing work and progress updates with images, videos and text. iMovie facilitated editing clips, adding soundtracks and effects to finish the final product.
This is a powerpoint presentation representing technologies from the process of constructing our film opening. With in this nine slide power point I talk about all the equipment we used and what we have learned at the end of the project. I uploaded this powerpoint on to slideshare in order to make it view able on the blog.

f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. Question 6
1. Mariam Ibrahim
Question 6: What have you learnt
about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. After Effects
I used an application called ‘After Effects’ to create our
title of our opening and the production names. For
our main title We used the font ..... And an effect
called .... Which made the text look mysterious to the
audience and to catch their eye. To make them reflect
the mood of our thriller.
3. Camera
The camera that me and my group used was a Canon. I
learnt the basics of how to use the camera and there was
many settings within the camera that I developed while
using the camera to record our opening. This camera was
easy to use and we also had a tripod in order to stop any
jumpy movements.
Using this camera allowed us to record our opening in high
definition and good quality. The setting was already set to
automatic which made it easier for us to film.
The camera was portable and lightweight which was
beneficial as it was not too hard to carry from one location
to another.
4. Youtube
We used a lot of Youtube at the start to help us with
our research. This helped us to get ideas for our
opening and we developed on it.
We also used Youtube to upload our final cut and any
other videos that was useful to the blog.
This was easy to use and it was quick as well.
This helped me when I was doing my product research
as it gave me a range of different thriller movies to
choose from.
5. Blogger
We had to keep up to date with any activity we made
and we used blogger where you could post any
pictures, videos or text. This allowed us to share it
with the group and teachers were could view it too.
Blogger made it simple for us to organize our work.
This helped us to see our progress and to see where
we were working at and if we had to update any new
ideas.
We were able to upload Prezi presentations, images
and graphs.
6. iMovie
iMovie was important throughout the process as this
helped us finish our final product. It was fairly simple
to edit, cut and paste clips which was user-friendly. It
automatically saves so that was useful and there was
no problems in losing any work that was done. It was
straight forward to add soundtracks and other sound
effects to make it more interesting. We added sound
effects such as heartbeats which created a dramatic
effect as to when the character was running.
There was many features to use on iMovie such as:
transitions, titles, sounds and video effects.
