Tripod

an image.

Focus lens,
using when
zooming in and
out when taking
a picture.
Screen and
computer

Key board

Mac
Before I started making my product I
had not used a mac very often, I
found the mac was great to use while
making my product, it was fast and
had lots of great software.
By using the mac I had the best
software and quickest machines,
using a mac was great because it is
like the macs they would use in the
industry.

Mouse
Software
I used a variety of software including some
online platforms.
• Photoshop
• InDesign
• Blogger
• Glogster
• UK Tribes
• Prezi
Photoshop
Photoshop was one of the main programs I
used, I used it to edit my main images and to
construct my whole cover, It was good because I
was able to install fonts and brushes to
Photoshop so I could make my titles and
brushes unique to my magazine, making my
product more individual.
InDesign
I used InDesign a lot while constructing my
product, I used it to make my contents page and
my double page spread, It was good because I
could put guidelines in so that I could keep my
text and images inline, I liked using InDesign it
was not overly complicated to use and it helped
keep my double page spread in order.
Prezi
I used Prezi as a way to compare product and
present my research, it’s good to use to present
my work because I could embed it into my blog
and it flows and is easy to use. It’s good because
you can crop your images while on the website
and you don’t have to have installed it, meaning I
could access it from home.
Blogger
I used blogger a lot, I used it to keep my work in
order and keep to hand my work in, It was good
because it was quite straight forward to use and
kept my work in the right order and it was also
quite easy to see when I’ve missed a piece of
work so I could go back and do it or to edit a
piece of work. It’s also good for when I go back
and look at my research from the beginning of
the year meaning it was easy when I needed to
reference it.
UK Tribes
UK Tribes was really useful when I was
researching for my target audience, it was easy
to navigate and really good in getting an idea of
different tribes, which made my research a bit
easier, and I could make my product more
appealing to my target audience.
Glogster
Glogster was good for presenting research it was
a bit different so my presentation didn’t become
too repetitive, It’s interactive and relatively easy
to use.
