On September 7th, 2013, Seedbox Technologies hosted the very first First Agile Coach Retreat event in North America!
For this event, we invited members of the Montreal Agile community to join us in our offices, with special guest Oana Juncu, Agile coach from Paris, France.
The Coach Retreat is a one-day workshop to experience several coaching techniques. During this Coach Retreat the participants practiced and observed different coaching postures and techniques to solve a given set of situations (as the "game of life" is the popular exercise for Code Retreats). Each coaching session took place under a Coaching DoJo format. Sequencing the coaching dojos under a code retreat format gives a "natural" mix of words: Coach Retreat = Code Retreat + Coaching Dojo.

The Eurotunnel is a railway tunnel that opened in 1994, linking France and the United Kingdom under the English Channel. - 2. PREMIERE PRO Adobe Premiere Pro is a media technology that has been used in the construction of the media product, the trailer. Premiere Pro was used to edit the film footage which we had obtained and to construct our film trailer. Premiere Pro is a hard program to master. It took a while for me to get to grips with the different shortcuts etc.

- 4. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Adobe Photoshop is another media technology that has been used in the creation of the media product, Adobe Photoshop was used during the production of my film poster. Photoshop is basically a program that allows you to edit images and add special effects to it. I have used Photoshop to produce a sort-of horror poster. There are many techniques which I used to create a sense of horror. I adjusted the brightness of the photo, I cropped out the face of the model, and I made the background very dark.
- 5. There were many tools within Photoshop which I used to create the poster. Firstly, I used the lasso tool in order to crop out half the face of the stalker. I did this by highlighting one section of the models face, and pressing the delete button. This meant that I was left with half of the models face. Also, I used the crop tool. This was to remove the unwanted background from the raw image. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
- 6. YOUTUBE Furthermore another media product which I used was YouTube. I used YouTube to upload the finished trailer. YouTube is a website where you can upload videos to. As a group we uploaded the video to YouTube.
- 7. SURVEY MONKEY The last media technology which I used to create the media product was survey monkey. Survey monkey is a website on the internet where you can upload surveys and get other people to fill it out for you I uploaded a survey onto survey monkey in order to find out whether the plot of the trailer was ok. I also wanted to find out what people thought of the initial idea of the trailer.
