The document discusses various media technologies used during the evaluation stage of a project. Edublogs was used to track project progress and embed presentations, videos and images. YouTube was utilized to upload PowerPoint presentations as videos with transitions/animation and embed videos in the blog. Polldaddy created a questionnaire with embedded images for audience feedback. Soundcloud allowed audio file uploads and embedding. Premier Pro edited videos for questions. PowerPoint and Slideshare created detailed presentations and allowed embedding. Facebook obtained audience responses by posting on a relevant group page.

2. EDUBLOGS
I have used Edublogs to
keep track of which parts
of the evaluation task I
have completed, I have
also been able to embed
presentations, videos and
images straight to my post
making it visually
interesting and fun.

3. YOUTUBE
I have used YouTube to upload my PowerPoint
presentations as videos so that I can include
transitions and animation to keep it looking exciting, I
also used YouTube to embed my videos into my blog
so the user is able to simply click onto it instead of
having to copy and paste the link into the search bar
then watch it from there.

4. POLLDADDY
Polldaddy is an online platform
that allows a user to create a
questionnaire or survey and
then embed that onto their
blog, I used Polldaddy to create
a questionnaire that I used in
question 3 as my audience
feedback, I was able to
construct a form with
embedded images like my
poster and film magazine which
enabled my target audience to
give feedback anonymously. By
giving feedback anonymously it
allowed them to by honest
which I have reviewed and
reflected upon in my question 3

5. SOUNDCLOUD
Soundcloud is a popular website
that allows users to upload and
share video files, it is also easy to
embed this to my edublogs blog. I
used soundcloud to answer part on
my question 4 answer, in this
answer I talked about the
technologies I used during my
research and planning stages of
my work.

6. PREMIER PRO
I used Adobe Premier Pro to construct my video
answers used in question 1 and question 3. In
premier pro I was able to have 2 videos in the
same frame which was incredibly useful in
question 3 as I was able to show the viewer what
the people being interviewed were seeing. I have
found premier pro a really useful tool during the
evaluation stage of my work, I was able to easily
cut clips and put them together for my question 1
clip with Cosplayers talking about my media
products.

7. POWERPOINT & SLIDESHARE
I have used both PowerPoint and Slideshare to create and publish my PowerPoints, these have been
really useful as I am able to go into more detail and add images to the text, something which I wouldn’t
have done if I had created videos. Slideshare made it super simple to embed my presentations onto
my blog which is why I have used then heavily in the evaluation part of my work.

8. SOCIAL NETWORKING
Facebook:
I used Facebook to ask my target audience to answer my question 3 questionnaire. I posted on the
London MCM Expo group page asking for people to give their responses, this worked really well as I had
over 30 responses therefore giving a range of opinions on what I could have done to improve my media
products. It was also particularly useful as the answers came from my target audience instead of people
who may not know much about Cosplay.
