The first part of our
video is in black and
white. Carina also wears
black and white clothing
in the video. We
incorporated this into our
Ancillary products as the
picture used inside my
album cover is black and
white and also the
picture used in my
advert is black and
white.

THE ROSE
The rose is featured
throughout the video,
when filming we were
also lucky enough to
find a wall with a rose
on it so we included
that in the video. There
were also close-ups on
the rose included in the
video.

LIPS
A big part of our synergy is
Karma’s (our artist) red lips. She
wears red lipstick throughout the
music video and she also is
wearing it on the album cover.
Although her lips are not red on
the advert we have used a lot of
red font to link in with our colour
scheme. We thought this would
be a good method of synergy as
red is a bright colour that stands
out and it was easy to combine
throughout our video and
ancillary products.

Karma (Carina)
Karma our artist is shown
throughout our music video.
The main reason for this is
that she would be an new
artist and it would be to
promote her and make her
recognisable and known
among her target audience.
This is also the same in both
the digipak and advert. Close
up are used of Carina’s face so
that she is known as an artist.
A more established artist may
not have to use their face in
their advert, album or music
video. Her make up and look
are kept the same throughout.
7. HOW MY PRODUCTS ARE AIMED TOWARDS MY
TARGET AUDIENCE
TARGET AUDIENCE
I think that both my music
video and ancillary products
are aimed towards my target
audience (16 – 20 year olds).
We have used a graffiti styled
font throughout all ancillary
products and also in our video.
In our video our artist wears
urban clothing such as a
printed sweatshirt and gold
chain. Also our video uses
urban locations such as
markets and graffiti walls in the
background. My target
audience are the main age
group that are interested in
graffiti art and they also wear
clothing that our artist does in
the video.
