 There is an important correlation between quality and
maintenance.
 maintenance management has become an essential
part of quality systems.
 It is an investment rather than cost.
 Improving the quality of maintenance will lead to
improved efficiency and effectiveness.
 Maintaining perfect equipment to maintain perfect
quality of products.
 focus on the expansion of maintenance perspective
through integrate it with other production programs.
Quality of maintenance is define by Japanese
Institute of Plant Maintenance ( JIPM) as: create
the conditions that prevent and control defects
in the processes and systems to get to the Zero
defects stage.
 Maintenance quality applied in two phases:
1) Phase I: Reactive reaction or Quality Control
phase.
2) Phase 2 : the initiative or quality assurance
stage.
 use of preventive, predictive and proactive
maintenance strategies.
 detecting potential failures before they occur.
 the equipment should be free from defects
and under quality control.
 focus on prevention of upstream.
 focus on the entrance of the errors
prevention.
 Divides the defects into main groups
 effective application of quality assurance
agent
 to preserve the value of the asset over time.
 to run the operation the longest possible
time without breakdowns.
 keep the equipment maintained and fully
functional at the time of customer request.
 Reducing costs of maintenance.

 We found that there are many variables and
factors that affect the maintenance problem
in our university, but we select the most
common variables which are: doors, tables,
lighting ,windows, chairs ,projectors, fans,
central heating ,blackboard, internet,
curtains, water taps ,wall paint ,fire alarm,
computers in the labs ,and fire cabinets.

in every college, who are coached and ready to
deal with any operational or software problem,
and they must Coordinate between the
construction, maintenance and management of
security and safety to continue the work between
maintenance engineers and safety staff in order to
accelerate the reporting of any problems or
incidents within the university framework,
and The university administration should
pursue all complaints received through various
communication channels to listen to students
voted on the maintenance requirements.
The expected results from our project is:

  • 3.  There is an important correlation between quality and maintenance.  maintenance management has become an essential part of quality systems.  It is an investment rather than cost.  Improving the quality of maintenance will lead to improved efficiency and effectiveness.  Maintaining perfect equipment to maintain perfect quality of products.  focus on the expansion of maintenance perspective through integrate it with other production programs.
  • 4. Quality of maintenance is define by Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance ( JIPM) as: create the conditions that prevent and control defects in the processes and systems to get to the Zero defects stage.
  • 5.  Maintenance quality applied in two phases: 1) Phase I: Reactive reaction or Quality Control phase. 2) Phase 2 : the initiative or quality assurance stage.  use of preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance strategies.  detecting potential failures before they occur.
  • 6.  the equipment should be free from defects and under quality control.  focus on prevention of upstream.  focus on the entrance of the errors prevention.  Divides the defects into main groups  effective application of quality assurance agent
  • 7.  to preserve the value of the asset over time.  to run the operation the longest possible time without breakdowns.  keep the equipment maintained and fully functional at the time of customer request.  Reducing costs of maintenance.
