WHAT IS QU HEALTH?
 QuHealth is a program that wants to ensure that students, as well
as their parents, have peace of mind when venturing off to
college. Often times students go off to college in a new city or
state, and parents worry what will happen to them in an
emergency. Through QUHealth, student's ID cards (which
students carry at all times) at Quinnipiac University will be able to
store various significant facts about them, such an emergency
contact information and important health history. This information
will be able to be accessed by the closest hospital, Yale New
Haven Hospital. QuHealth has been a vision in the making for
over a year. In these coming months we plan to set the foundation
for QuHealth to become a reality.

BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS
MARKET TYPE
 4 different customers:
 Yale-New Haven Hospital (potentially other surrounding hospitals)
 Quinnipiac University- must want and agree to implement service
 Parents of Quinnipiac Students- must find it necessary to provide their
children with this extra safety precaution
 Quinnipiac Students- believe it will be necessary for their parents to purchase
this extra service for their safety
MARKET SIZE
 Currently, we are focusing on having QuHealth become only
available on the Quinnipiac campus.
 Quinnipiac has a total of 8,352 students, with 6,262 of these being
undergraduates.
 Our service is aimed mainly at undergraduates, particularly
incoming freshman. The idea being this is that if they buy the
service their freshman year, they will continue to use it in the
following years (repeat customers).
 In 2013 QU welcomed 1, 800 freshman, and that number will
continue to grow as the university expands. We plan on capturing
7% of the market within the first year, 12% in the second year, and
17% in the third.
COMPETITORS
 Currently we have not identified any direct competitors. We
believe we have a unique idea that has not been executed at any
other university campus before.
 However, some indirect competitors could be smart phone apps
that allow customers to input their health information, such as
Capzule PHR or MyMedical.
