product?

2. Photoshop
• I have learnt how to use different tools and
techniques on Photoshop such as the
brightness/contrast tool, how to add text onto
a photo, how to change the size and
proportion of an image. This will help me with
future media projects that I need to use
Photoshop for as I will know how to use the
different tools.

3. Quark Express
• I have learnt how to use the basic tools on
Quark express such as how to insert text and
images and how to set up the page layout.
This will help me with future media projects
that I will do on Quark express because I will
already have the knowledge of how to use it.

4. Camera
• I used my camera a lot for this project as I had
to take photos of the bands featured in my
magazine and upload them to my computer to
use for my magazine. I used my own camera
instead of a college camera so I already knew
how to use it.

5. What I have worked as during this
project
• I have worked as a Photographer, Journalist,
Sub-editor, Graphic designer and Proof reader
during this project. I think my strong points
were photography and being a journalist as I
think they are the best things in my magazine.
I think my weaker point was the graphic
designing as I found it quite tricky on Quark
express sometimes to lay out the page and set
up the text.
