Digital SLR cameras can produce very large, high-quality images needed for professional media products. The student used Adobe Photoshop and QuarkXPress, industry standard software, to edit photos and design pages like a guitar graphic for a spread. Blogs on platforms like Blogger and sites like Prezi or Slideshare were utilized to document the process of creating the magazine.

2. CAMERAS
 To take the images used for my magazine I used
a high quality Digital SLR camera which
produced very large but very clear photographs.
This was to insure my images were the highest
quality possible to compare to
the quality of real media
products

3. SOFTWARE
 During this assignment I used Adobe Photoshop
CS5 Extended and QuarkXPress 9 which are
both examples of industry standard software.
 An example of me using this software in my
magazine has been using the pen tool in
Photoshop and Quark to create a small guitar
graphic for my double page spread interview.

4. BLOGS
 To write up the process of producing my
magazine I have used Blogger by Google to record
everything I have done
 This has been either through writing directly
onto blog posts for a specific attribute of the
process or to use websites such as Prezi or
Slideshare to embed media onto the blog itself
