2. INTERNET
I used the internet for various things; such as Blogger and YouTube. The
internet was an essential part of this project as it allowed me to document my
progress on Blogger, get ideas from YouTube and do research on thrillers.

3. CAMERAS
Our footage was recorded on JVS cameras in HD.
We used flip cameras to record vlogs and feedback from our audience.
We also used still cameras to take photos on set, of props and of our location.

4. MEMORY
As we had a lot of footage to be saved, we used memory cards and separate
hard drives. All footage and pictures were originally saved on the memory
cards in the cameras and we transferred them to the hard drives so that all
work was in the same place and easy to access within the group.

5. PREZI
Prezi is an application that allows you to create presentations in a
simple, straightforward way. We used prezi in our pitch to put forward our
ideas.

6. FINAL CUT PRO
Final Cut Pro is a software that
allows you to edit videos. We
used this software to edit our
footage and come up with our
final product. We also used it to
edit our vlogs, bloopers and
feedback.
This was a very important part
of our project as without Final
Cut, editing our footage
would’ve been a lot more
difficult.
Final Cut Pro is simple to use
for editing clips together and
cropping videos, but adding
transitions and changing
lighting is much more
complicated.

7. SOUNDTRACK PRO
Soundtrack pro is a software that allows you to edit sounds into videos. It
allows you to add foley sounds and music and many different layers of sound.
You can also change the volume of the individual sounds to suit your
preference.
We used Soundtrack Pro to add the music in throughout our opening and
foley sounds; such as footsteps and someone knocking on the door.

8. MOTION
Motion is a graphic design
software which allows you
to create idents.
We used motion to create
our distribution ident.
