What kind of media institution
might distribute your media product
and why?

Production
For our production we created a
company entitled ‘White Flag
Production’ - it is a small
independent company as our
film was low budget. We used
minimal title credits as we were
influenced by other low budget
films . The title sequence only
credits the producer and
director
We were influenced by a small
independent company called
‘Fierce Productions’ who
produced ‘Top Girl’ and
‘HONEYTRAP’ – we feel that the
company have the same core
target audience as us. We are
aiming our work at teenagers
and thought a company like this
would be the most suitable
As we have a young target audience and
an urban edge film although a high school
drama we thought it would be best to
have a digital release rather than a
theatrical release as it would reach out
faster and easier to our young audience.
It is also cheap which would be
convenient as our film is low budget
Structure of titles
As a group we
used minimal
titles because we
did not use any A
list celebrities and
the film was low
budget
