My media product represented C2DE social group as it was
aimed at people who are young adults and older teens as our
sequence isn’t appropriate for any age younger and aimed at
the working class as it would be more popular with them.
Also, it would attract them more as the blood and gore may
catch their attention and appeal to them. Also because our
target audience is 18 and over it means that we are able to do
more within the film in terms of special effects such as blood,
guts, and also able to use explicit language.
I aimed my sequence towards both genders, but
more males than females as males are more
attracted to horror thrillers due to the blood,
guts and gore compared to females who are
more squeamish and tend to turn away from
films such as these because of this. However the
slight romantic element may attract them to it.
