 Our product will have a target audience of people
in the age range between 15 and 24, it will be
aimed towards the male gender however will also
try to appeal to females as well. One reason for
this is because our film has been certified as a 15.
This is because it involves drugs and violence so
we don’t think it would be suitable for a younger
audience. It may also contain strong language
which means with all the factors 15 is an
appropriate age certificate. This may also attract
more people from our target audience because it
is more appropriate to an older age group
meaning that it is more enjoyable than a U rated
film.
 Also people aged between 16 and 24
are more likely to watch films than any
other age group meaning that more
people are likely to watch our film
because they are in our target
audience. Between this age range
people are more likely to be interested
in the genre of our film as it is a crime
thriller with lots of action in which is
more likely to attract people in this
age group especially males.
 It may relate to many people because crime is a
part of everyday life that affects everyone, some
more than others. As our story line shows both
sides including the good and bad side of crime it
is likely to relate to a lot of people including
people who work against crime, have been
affected by crime and have even committed
crime. It will also attract people who haven’t got
a lot of crime affecting their lives as they will
find it an interesting subject and may want to
learn more about it.
 Our film will relate to both genders for
different reasons. It will relate to boys
because they are more likely to be
involved with crime and are more
interested by action films such as Fast
and furious. Also the main characters in
our film are male so boys will be able to
relate to them and may find it more
interesting. However girls are often more
interested in the crime area and many
females now work in that area for
example Lawyers and Police officers.
