2. CHALLENGE’S
A typical form and convention of a radio bulletin, would be informing the
audience on the time and date, at the start of the broadcast after the
Presenter introduces themselves. However, in this case we managed to
challenge the norm and not include certain forms and conventions.
Furthermore, we included sound effects. This challenged the forms and
conventions of a radio bulletin as usually, radio bulletins do not include
any sound effects whatsoever.
``For example,I Introduced myself by stating my name and also introducing
my co presenter. This challenges the forms and conventions as I did not
follow the traditional way of a news bulletin, as I did not mention the
date and time to the audience.

3. DEVELOP
In addition, my media product develops the use of forms and convention in the
following ways. We used enticing title music to emphasize the importance of
the news as the news included in our media product is ‘breaking’ and
‘urgent’ as it informs the public about significant events in the area.
Another way in which we developed the forms and conventions was through the
amount of people reading the script The traditional form or a news bulletin is
to have 1 or 2 people, broadcasting the news, however in this case we all
took part
Furthermore, we included sound effects. This developed the forms and
conventions of a radio bulletin as usually, radio bulletins do not include any
sound effects whatsoever.

4. HOW WE USED FORMS AND CONVENTIONS
We managed to use the correct forms and conventions in the following
ways. Firstly, we used a jingle in order to meet the criteria for a radio
bulletin. The jingle was a correct use of forms and conventions because
it is used in the majority of professional radio bulletins.
We also used Radio ID at the start of the news bulletin, I introduced my co-
presenter and myself. This is following the forms and conventions as
typically news bulletins include this.
In addition, we used an interview that lasted for about a minute or so. The
interview contained relevant information that linked to the bulletin and
the local area, as the interview took place in oxford street. An interview
is a form and convention of a news bulletin and we managed to include
this in ours.
